Walking in the Area
St. Arvans has many footpaths, including the long distance Wye Valley Path, to appeal to walkers of all ability. You can enjoy day-long rambles, afternoon strolls or a quick rounder to exercise both dog and owner.
A local resident, Alan Bolton is a volunteer footpath warden with MCC Countryside Services and can offer help and advice to anyone wanting to know more about the paths around the ward. He is a trained walk leader and regularly takes walking groups on behalf of MCC.andthe Chepstow 'Walkers are Welcome' group. To find out more, please e-mail
